The question running through my head this morning is how does one develop free and open source software and make a living at doing so?

It just seems to me that labor is labor whether your a mowing a lawn or writing software.

If one was to do yard work for someone, most people would feel obligated to pay you for your labor. But, if you write software the same person(s) expect that for free. 🤔
